About the Role

SkyForge Innovations is seeking an experienced C# Engineer / C# Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems and cloud-native applications. This role requires strong knowledge of C#, .NET ecosystems, distributed architectures, and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core.

Build scalable APIs (REST/GraphQL), microservices, and system integrations.

Implement clean, modular, and maintainable architectures (Clean Architecture, DDD, layered design).

Optimize performance, concurrency, memory usage, and system reliability.

Integrate and optimize relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

Support cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using containerized solutions.

Develop CI/CD pipelines and automated testing with modern tools.

Implement logging, monitoring, metrics, and observability best practices.

Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a C# Developer, Backend Engineer, or similar role.

Strong proficiency in C#, .NET 6/7/8, ASP.NET Core, LINQ, EF Core.

Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and API-driven architectures.

Knowledge of cloud-native technologies (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

Solid understanding of software testing (unit, integration, E2E).

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, JWT, OAuth2, RBAC).

Nice to Have

Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).

Experience with real-time systems (SignalR, WebSockets).

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi).

Experience with advanced APM tools (Elastic, Datadog, New Relic, Application Insights).

Experience in large-scale, global remote environments.
