About the Role

SkyForge Innovations is seeking a Pleno DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD systems. This role requires strong experience with automation, reliability engineering, container orchestration, distributed systems, and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and testing workflows.

Manage and operate containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Improve system reliability, observability, and performance across distributed architectures.

Build infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.

Implement monitoring, alerting, logs, and metrics using modern observability tools.

Collaborate with software engineering teams to automate operational workflows.

Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement of DevOps practices.

Ensure security, compliance, and resilience in production environments.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar role (Pleno level).

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, AKS).

Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent).

Advanced skills in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).

Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.

Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, and security best practices.

Experience with Git workflows and automated testing pipelines.

Scripting/programming experience (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).

Nice to Have

Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ).

Experience with real-time or high-availability systems.

Familiarity with advanced observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Datadog, New Relic).

Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).

Previous experience working in global distributed remote teams.
